memo.

What Jerry Maguire meant as a "mission statement" was taken by many as simply an office memo.  With web site design, I prefer to do just the opposite: make a complex mission statement into a simple and structred memo.

My philosophy of design will be incorporated with your content to create a navigable, user-friendly site with slick yet fast-loading graphics.

  • Keep it simple.  A simple navigation design (such as frames to the left or above your content window) will eliminate user frustration, allowing the user to return home at will, minimizing the use of the back button.  Smart use of the bold and italic features organize information in a visually appealing fashion.
  • Content.  As an editor, I will organize and categorize your information so that a user can find what s/he needs as quickly as possible.  I will also correct mistakes and clarify your language.
  • Visual appeal.  Simple but catchy eye candy will hold the attention of the users at your site without causing frustration as they wait for lengthy flash animations or java scripts.  The colors and fonts used on your site will be web standard and easy on the eyes.
  • Add-ons.  While still maintaining a user-friendly design, I can add artwork resources, guestbooks, mouseovers, animated buttons, and chat rooms to your web site, providing users with instructions on how to utilize these features.
  • Updates.  Despite a frame based design, I can teach you how to update and maintain your own web site by editing and uploading a few simple files.
