(My other motto)

Hi- this is just a silly little forever-being-updated page about me.  I put lots of cool gimicks and links on here for you, too.

A note: some people may interpret my inherent cynicism as pessimism.  However, this is not true.  My cynicism, aside from qualifying me as a moderately competent writer, provides the necessary humor required for me to deal with everyday pressures- those which most people experiences.

My Studies:

I am in college right now, finishing up my major and English and minor in Music.  (Yes, I am aware that I picked the two most absolutely useless things to study).  I regret having not majored in Sarcasm with a minor in Commentary.

I write for the school paper, and for me, well, that's published.  I run an e-zine with some delinquent friends, and I'm eeking out a second CD called "Storm and After."  This time, I am going to actually profit from it, instead of giving it away.  As you can guess, I am horrible with math and finances, but I work a lot.

My Hobbies and Other Stuff:

I write songs, poems, and just about anything if you will hire me:)  I also design web sites, and soon I hope to do this on a more professional basis.  I enjoy eating EasyMac (Kraft is a) not owned by the KKK, and b) next to fat free frozen fudge popsicles in nutritional content) and I like to pretend I am on a diet, but the extra mayo always gives me away.

I sing decently, play guitar competently, and I love hitting keys on the piano and hoping cool sounds come out.  I love reading.  Current read for pleasure: Dragon Reborn by Robert Jordan.
I also enjoy elves, because they are cool.

I have started drawing again- my friend Katy, who's an incredibly talented artist, says that everyone has the potential to develop an artistic ability, particularly if he or she is good at other creative stuff.  No harm in pumping out a few elf sketches, right?

I am a vegetarian and have been since the 10th grade.  I love animals!  I am into a variety of service projects and opportunities.  Hey, you should check out Alpha Phi Omega, my service fraternity (it's co-ed).

My favorite color is blue, thus the site design.  My wardrobe is weird.  I have everything from peasant wear to the standard choir all-black sleek, to fringe, to neato skirts and jeans.

I love getting campus mail from my friends.

Friends:
Note: these dolls are stylized!  Most of us are not this thin, nor do Lisa and I have wings!

Lisa: My stylish friend from home. She goes to school in CA, so I miss her most of the year.
Mandy: My longest-known friend from home.  She digs the Beatles, web design, and more.  She uses a crapintosh.
Katy: A close friend from home... a total artiste.  She is also art editor of my 'zine.
John: My boyfriend. My wonderful boyfriend of over a year. He's a music student (the best) and he plays piano (better than anyone). I love him tons. John plays in several jazz ensembles, and he is hot. John loves the Philadelphia Flyers (NHL).
Staci: My roommate. She is the busiest person I know, but is still so nice.  What an awesome friend & roommate.

Brad: My friend that goes to school near my home. He loves The Beatles, which is good, but he uses a Crapintosh. Boo!

Joann: Another friend from school. She is majoring in music and loves butterflies, too.
Nicole:  Nicole is my awesome cousin from New Jersey.  I hear that boring and hellish in New Jersey, and it sure looks that way from across the river:(  We went to ENGLAND and Ireland together!
Lauri: My very wacky friend at school. When it comes down to it, she is really there for me.

Steven: My stepbrother-to-be.  He is obsessed wtih Diablo II, but that's ok.
Michael: A friend from school who is pretty much like a brother to me. He's also an English Major and plays in a cool band.
Jenn: My stepsister-to-be with a cool new white car.
Tim: Beatle friend, journalism and music afficionado.

My Future:

In the future, I hope to work for a publishing company.  Then, I will singlehandedly overtake Rolling Stone Magazine.  I will promote my boyfriend and my friends in said magazine, and said friends will pay me millions of dollars because of the success.

):  Ok, so how about reality?  :(

This is me in college.  In the first picture, I am happy because I am singing in Madrigals.  In the second picture, I am happy and have hippie clothes that are fun.

Here is me after I graduate:

I become a McDonald's worker speaking broken German in a non-German speaking country, and resort to literally being a starving artist.  Having developed an illness from frequenting the college's cafeteria, I have suffered extreme weight loss.  Furthermore, I can't afford to clothe myself properly.  Still a vegetarian, I make my living serving meat to nasty forty year old men that hit on me.  Yes, here is me, with a BA in English:
I wear the letter "M."  I graduated from a College X.  Do you want fries with that?  Ja?!
